Please help me with a virtual toy drive! I have been a lucky girl and as part of my Mitzvah Project for my Bat Mitzvah, I want to help the other patients at Rady Children’s Hospital.
With all the safety regulations in the hospital, Rady can’t accept donated stuffed animals. Each time I have stayed at the hospital there has been one waiting on my bed in my hospital room. These stuffed animals make me happy and feel safe. The cost for each stuffed animal is $10. Please help me by raising money for these stuffed animals or other toys for patients at the hospital.
Rady Children's Hospital holds a special place in my heart. It has been my home away from home since we moved to San Diego in 2009. Each year we try to give back in support of Rady Children's and how this amazing place has helped me and cared for my entire family.
In the last few years, the team at Rady Children's has helped me learn how to walk, how to speak, how to eat and has saved my life... twice. During my Bat Mitzvah studies I have learned about the importance of Gemilut Hasadim, which is acts of loving kindness. I have received lots of acts of loving kindness throughout my life and want to share this with others.
Thank you for your support!
