Donate to the Teddy Bear Drive Fund and help kids like Mat, Charlie and Miriam!
San Diego Regional Law Enforcement Teddy Bear Drive has been supporting Rady Children’s Hospital since 1990. We are continuing the tradition and need your help! Please consider making a donation to the Teddy Bear Drive Fund benefiting Rady Children's Hospital.
Your support will help to provide teddy bears to patients, support for the Bereavement Program, and supplies for bedtime carts to provide comfort to families staying the night in the Hospital.
Mat, Charlie and Miriam, born at just 24 weeks, were off to a rough early start, spending nearly 150 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Rady Children’s. They endured 14 surgeries, countless blood transfusions, multiple collapsed lungs and infections. In November 2014 our tiny fighters were able to come home.
Now 4 years old, Mat, Charlie and Miriam still see their team of Rady Children’s caregivers: pediatrician, ophthalmologist, pulmonologist, urologist, general surgeon, gastroenterologist, dermatologist, nephrologist and psychologist. This little troop of three also attends various therapy and developmental support services weekly.
Your support will ensure that every child receives the best possible care exactly when they need it.
