Walk with Us! Grab your friends and family for this 3-Mile Fun Walk (with a 1-mile short cut option) that starts at South Shores Park on Mission Bay, enters through SeaWorld and continues back to the Park where the shortcut route will finish. The 3-milers will continue heading northeast along Mission Bay toward East Mission Bay Drive to the turnaround. Either way, you'll cross the finish line back at South Shores Park to enjoy games, entertainment, food and fun at a special celebration.

Why?  Support the life-saving efforts taking place at Rady Children’s every day, enjoy a fun morning at Mission Bay with your family and friends – and celebrate our amazing patients and families!

What is Kite Club? Walk participants who donate $250 or more qualify as Kite Club Members. Kite Club membership allows you to maximize your participation while making a real difference in the life of a critically ill or injured child and enjoy some special benefits! Kite Club members will receive an invitation to the Kite Club hospitality tent for complimentary breakfast, access to special Kite Club parking on Walk day and other benefits. NOTE: Kite Club is not a fundraising level, but rather a personal donation option.

• We have fundraising badges. These are fun little badges to help encourage you! When you reach a fundraising milestone, you will receive an email letting you know which milestone you achieved and a badge will appear in your participant center.

• The Walk route is 3 miles (with a 1-mile short cut option). We hope this will give more families the opportunity to try the longer route – with some fun treats along the way. And everyone can enjoy a bit more time at the post-Walk festivities.
• The Walk takes place on Sunday, October 4th (not Saturday).
